About the Event

The Oakton Classic will feature 20+ high school bands from Virginia
Time & Location

The Oakton Classic runs from 11:30AM to 9:30PM EDT

Oakton High School Stadium, 2900 Sutton Road Vienna, VA 22181
Tickets
-
Tickets are available at the ticket gate beginning at 11AM EDT
-
Ticket Price: $6-10 (early bird) & $8-12 (at ticket window) for all day. Children aged 5 and under are admitted free. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted

One ticket entitles the holder to a wristband/stamp for all day access
-
All seating is general admission
-
In the event of show cancellations due to inclement weather or other catastrophic event, admission is non-refundable.
Vendors, Merchandise, Concessions

Souvenir and Shout-Outs are available for purchase

Concessions is available all day
Restrooms
-
Restrooms are located by the concession stand
First Aid and Lost and Found
-
Registered EMT will be on duty all day
-
All lost and found articles will be gathered at a central location (TBD) for guests to reclaim.
Inclement Weather
-
In the event of light rain, the contest will continue as normal
-
If the rain becomes too severe for performances to continue, the competition will move into the school building
-
Fairfax County Public School does have the ability to override any decision made by the Oakton Band Booster. We are obligated to follow their guidance in terms of inclement weather
Spectator Etiquette
-
All participants should be respectful of all the bands' performances and judges' decsions
-
Please do not enter or exit the stands during a band’s performance
-
No air horns are permitted in the stadium
-
No alcohol, drugs firearms, or pets on FCPS school grounds (service animals permitted)
-
Performers, volunteers, and judges are expected to observe the VMBC Code of Conduct
What to Bring

Sunblock, rain gears, warm jacket, gloves & hat

Enthusiasm, great attitude, patience, friends and family!
