Jammin’ Oakton Jazz Café

Every year, Oakton celebrates its jazz talent with a special event called Jammin’ Oakton.  This is an unusual night where a tablecloths and centerpieces adorn the cafeteria tables, and parents and guests have a chance to see the jazz bands in a Jazz Café environment.  The opportunity to be close to the bands while they play and enjoy refreshments with the music is a once-a-year opportunity!  The evening is made more festive through a variety of raffles and silent auction sales, which give the audience a chance to both support the bands and head home with a donated prize from one of our business supporters.  All Oakton bands families are encouraged to come and enjoy the unique sound of jazz on this night.
